The Scientific Committee supports the Board of Directors in an advisory capacity. It is composed of three to five members, selected from among experts of recognised competence in the Foundation’s areas of interest. It remains in office for the duration of the Board’s mandate and contributes through guidance and proposals that help steer activities and projects.

The Board of Auditors oversees compliance with the law and with the Statute, ensuring adherence to sound administrative principles and, in particular, assessing the adequacy of the organisational, administrative and accounting arrangements adopted by the Foundation and their effective functioning.

The Director leads the Foundation’s operational structure and staff. She is responsible for implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors (and of the Executive Director, if appointed), for preparing the draft and final budgets, and for ensuring the proper administrative and accounting management of the organisation.
