Accessibility Statement

Fondazione per la Scuola is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004.

This accessibility statement applies to:
https://www.fondazionescuola.it/

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A of the UNI EN 301549 standard, due to the non-compliances and/or exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is not accessible due to non-compliance with Law No. 4/2004.

In preparing this accessibility statement, the WCAG 2.1 standards were taken into account. Testing was carried out using assistive technologies such as the main screen readers (JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver), whose purpose is to interpret page content and present it as audio output.

Test results show that some users may encounter difficulties when accessing certain pages or functionalities of this website, as they are only partially accessible. The non-compliances identified and the corresponding success criteria violated are listed below:

1.3.1 Information and relationships:
Heading levels are not always used consistently across the website pages. In addition, on the CONTACTS page, there are no instructions informing users that fields marked with an asterisk in the form are mandatory.

1.3.2 Meaningful sequence:
Some elements are not detected in the correct logical order by assistive technologies.

1.4.1 Use of colour:
Some links on the website are not underlined. Links should always be underlined to ensure they are distinguishable from plain text.

1.4.3 Contrast (minimum):
The minimum contrast between foreground text and background is not always sufficient, for example white text on a yellow background on the HOMEPAGE.

2.4.1 Bypass blocks:
The website does not provide “skip to content” links.

2.4.4 Link purpose (in context):
Generic links are present on the website, such as “Download file”, “Link”, or “This link”. In addition, some empty links were detected.

2.4.7 Focus visible:
The focus indicator is rarely visible.

3.3.1 Error identification:
On the website, some error messages near input fields are not automatically detected when navigating with assistive technologies.

3.3.2 Labels or instructions:
On the website, for example on the CONTACTS page, some elements lack labels.

3.3.3 Error suggestion:
When input errors occur, suggestions for correcting them are not provided.
